In this class students will be guided through how to layer different materials onto one canvas, creating true multi-dimensional works of art. Collaging  with man made materials such as multicolored paper, cloth, recycled plastic, and natural materials such as salt, sand, and fallen tree leaves, this mixed media class emphasizes the universality of art itself and re-writes what students consider to be art.
