When children are encouraged to freely explore their imagination creatively, they begin to develop innovative problem solving skills and gain confidence in making decisions independently. Providing children with an expressive outlet not only makes them feel good in the moment and helps them better deal with stress in the future, but it shows them that they can consciously use their imagination to bring any idea into their physical reality.
"Arts education fosters bright, creative, and socially engaged students who will grow up to be our next leaders, parents, teachers, artists, and engineers. Their innovative ideas will shape industries; their creative thinking will find out-of-the box solutions for a global society; and will provide students with a way to understand themselves, and have a sense of belonging."
